We carry out ecological restoration and planting activities in collaboration with various organizations, with the goal of regenerating the local ecosystem. These actions, in addition to promoting the care and protection of our environment, aim to generate environmental awareness among all park visitors, fostering a culture of respect and preservation for future generations.

The rural women of Sandoná play an essential role in sustaining the local economy, playing a key role in the creation of our famous toquilla straw handicrafts, such as the Sandoneño hat, a product that has earned a designation of origin and a "Handmade" seal of quality awarded by ICONTEC.

At Gradas de Belén Park, we support and value the work of these mothers and entrepreneurial women. That's why we've designed exclusive spaces within the park where they can display and sell their products, contributing to the preservation of their cultural traditions and the economic strengthening of the region.

Thanks to the increase in tourists, direct and indirect jobs are created, positively impacting sectors such as transportation (mototaxis, motorcycle taxis, public transportation companies), gastronomy (hotels and restaurants), as well as tour guides and local farms.
